- Paper cracked
- Problem statement:
Especially during the dry winter season, paper lacks moisture. After the paper box is formed, it is prone to cracking when folded.
- Solution:
First of all, when purchasing raw materials, we should pay attention to the texture direction of the paper. If the paper texture is perpendicular to the folded line, it will not easily crack. Otherwise, it will easily crack.
Paper fiber length is an important criterion for paper quality. The longer the fiber, the less likely it is to crack. Therefore, it is also important to choose the brand and quality of paper according to seasonal changes.
- Paper color difference problem
- Problem statement:
Color difference between different batches of printed products is a common problem in printed products.
- Solution:
Use a color difference density meter to record the color value of the standard color. During each batch of production, use the color difference density to measure parameters and compare them with the standard color value.
The same product should be printed with the same brand of paper and ink to ensure color uniformity.
- Printing pattern overprint
- Problem statement:
The overprinting or overprinting position of the subsequent process and the printing pattern are consistent
- Solution:
Make sure the paper is cut accurately (no tilt, no burrs)
Ensure constant temperature and humidity in the workshop
Ensure that the position of the printing machine’s gage is consistent with that of the subsequent process.
- Paper box and paper bag degumming problem
- Problem statement:
Paper box and paper bag degumming problem
- Solution:
If the carton or paper bag is oiled in the subsequent process, use a local oiling machine to oil the paper box or paper bag to leave the mounting opening.
Select glue according to the final use area of the product. (Super low temperature resistance or super high temperature resistance)
If the paper is thicker and the mounting opening is narrow, you should put a tooth line on the mounting opening to allow the glue to penetrate into the paper.
- Mixed installation problem
- Problem statement:
If there are many types of products that require imposition printing, it is easy to mix them during transportation or subsequent production processes.
- Solution:
Mark the model number of the product on the product mounting edge. It is best to expose the knife edge. Different products of the same batch should be marked in different positions. This will make it easier to identify during transportation.
After each production process is completed, products of different types should be placed separately and wrapped.
The quality inspection process not only checks the quality of the products but also checks whether the products are mixed.
- Color fading and discoloration problem
- Problem statement:
In order to protect the environment, many products do not choose to be coated. If the color fastness of the paper is not good, it will easily discolor.
- Solution:
If the product is not protected by a film or is only oiled, a discoloration test should be done immediately after oiling (use white gloves to rub the product back and forth 20 times).
